Volunteer

A little volunteering goes a long way. Volunteering is a great way for parents/guardians to connect with your child's school as well as other parents. If you are a first-time volunteer at Mathews, just one or two hours during the school year can make a dramatic difference in children’s academic success.

Mathews Elementary offers plenty of opportunities for parents to volunteer that best meet their schedules, unique talents and comfort levels.

All Plano ISD volunteers must complete a volunteer application each year after July 1 to be considered for volunteer opportunities such as working in classrooms or attending field trips. See Volunteer Application section for more details.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer in Plano schools, please complete the district's online volunteer application. All Plano ISD volunteers must have a background check every school year, but not before July 1 of each school year.
